  18. Ouch.  Since you're using Executor under Linux, here are a few
  19. suggestions:

  21.     Do an ls -lR of the parent directory and send that and a brief
  22.     note to us with that information.
  23.  
  24.     Try manually removing apple double pairs (e.g. file1 and %file1)
  25.     from the folder that you can't open, one at a time, and see if
  26.     you can find one single file pair that causes the file browser
  27.     to crash.  Pass information you find back to bugs@ardi.com
  28.  
  29.     Try using makehfv to make a large HFV file that you can expand
  30.     your work into and see if you can run out of that, then let us
  31.     know, one way or the other.

  33. Those suggestions *should* allow us to figure out what's going on.  In
  34. all our testing, we never saw anything like this, so I'm assuming this
  35. particular problem is rare and is not a showstopper for 1.99n.

  37. Anyone who finds ways to make the Browser crash should send e-mail to
  38. bugs@ardi.com.  If it is likely that lots of people will make Browser
  39. crash without going out of their way, we'll need to get a fix out ASAP
  40. and delay hyping Executor to the press, potential investors, etc.

  51. If you send us a phone number and good times to call (yes, I'm aware
  52. of the time difference), we *might* be able to call you.  No
  53. guarantees since it's after hours and you're overseas, but this is a
  54. very urgent problem from our perspective as well.
