  3. to format Macintosh disks under Linux, I have written a little program
  4. called "macformat". The disk must be low-level formatted. The formatting
  5. takes only a few seconds (like "mformat a:" for DOS format does).
  6.  
  7. To format a disk and give it the label "Diskname", just type:
  8.  
  9.     macformat /dev/fd0 "Diskname"
  10.  
  11. I have put it on sunsite.unc.edu under /pub/linux/systems/Emulators.
  12. (It should appear there the next days.)
