- Hi,
-
- to format Macintosh disks under Linux, I have written a little program
- called "macformat". The disk must be low-level formatted. The formatting
- takes only a few seconds (like "mformat a:" for DOS format does).
-
- To format a disk and give it the label "Diskname", just type:
-
- macformat /dev/fd0 "Diskname"
-
- I have put it on sunsite.unc.edu under /pub/linux/systems/Emulators.
- (It should appear there the next days.)
-
- Greetings,
- Holger
-
- P.S.:
- What would be the best way to register Executor/Linux from Germany?
- The problem is that I do not have a credit card..
