- It is interesting that one list member suggests moving Executor/DOS to
- Windows while another suggests moving Executor/Linux to console/SVGA.
- It is just a matter of perspecting. For example, I would not use
- Executor/Linux if it didn't run under X11. X is all I use. This is
- similar to the statement by the Windows users for whom Executor was
- the only DOS program they retained.
-
- I doubt Executor would gain much from a move away from X. You will gain
- much more by upgrading your hardware - a fast processor and graphics card,
- costing still less than an Apple Macintosh, improves executor no end.

- It is easy. I do it myself. Just get a 1.44M disk that has been formatted
- on a Mac, and:
-
- cat /dev/fd0 >my_mac_disk
-
- Then, whenever you want another Mac disk, copy it back:
-
- cat my_mac_disk >/dev/fd0
-
- (I must admit, I've only ever done this once, so I don't know of any
- possible complications. For a start, I assume some disk-renaming might
- be necessary)
