  1. Dear Folks,

  3.     I know you've been waiting patiently for Executor V1.2 and  
  4. I'm proud to announce that we will be shipping Executor V1.2 next  
  5. Monday.  As mentioned before, the fancy documentation isn't ready, so  
  6. it will ship under separate cover.  V1.2 had a rougher time in beta  
  7. than we expected, so there's a chance that a maintenance release will  
  8. be included when we ship the manuals.
  9.  
  10.     In addition to the V1.2 features that were mentioned in  
  11. previous posts, V1.2 also has a "Preferences..." panel that allows  
  12. you to adjust some of the features that previously required fiddling  
  13. with the (ugh!) Configuration files.  In addition, the "Save..."  
  14. button on the Preferences panel allows you to save the window size  
  15. and window location for a given app, or as a default for any app.  A  
  16. pause feature was also added at the last minute, so you can pause  
  17. Executor when your not using it and let your CPU take a breather.

  19.     Once V1.2 is out the door, we'll immediately begin compiling  
  20. a list of what runs and what doesn't.
