  2. In my opinion, there are about a million useful and important things
  3. that can be done with Executor that are like having X windows
  4. compatibility.  Also in my opinion, these things should come at the
  5. end of the development cycle for Executor, given that ARDI's resources
  6. seem to be quite small.  Executor-MSW will probably not be taken truly
  7. seriously by those with the ability to buy in very large quantity
  8. until it is a true Mac emulator i.e. the tag '-MSW' is removed
  9. forever.  Finally, and again in my opinion only, I would prefer, and
  10. think ARDI would profit most, by having Executor run everything, just
  11. like SoftPC.  Configuration files should be considered a crutch
  12. because they reflect underlying inconsistencies in the emulation
  13. (obviously).  No doubt I am speaking the obvious, but it seems that a
  14. great deal of attention is being focused on the short-term quick-fix,
  15. at least in this mailing list.  I don't know anything about ARDI's
  16. actual product development cycle, but unless these fixes are required
  17. to keep ARDI viable instead of in bancruptcy proceedings then I think
  18. the focus might be a little wrong.

  21. Keep with it and you will command any resources you might ever need.
