  3. This file contains some of the most egregious bugs that we know of
  4. that remain in Executor 2.
  5.  
  6. We actually use a "gnats" bug tracking database to keep better track
  7. of all of our bugs, and you too can use it, either via
  8. http://www.ardi.com/, or by email as described below.
  9.  
  10. If you want to search for a bug with a particular topic.  Send e-mail
  11. to "query-pr@ardi.com" with a subject line of:
  12.  
  13.     --skip-closed --text=TOPIC
  14.  
  15. where TOPIC is the keyword you're interested in, and that will send
  16. you a summary of known bugs for a particular topic.  If you want to
  17. see all the details of a given problem report, send e-mail to
  18. "query-pr@ardi.com" with a subject line of:
  19.  
  20.     --skip-closed --full NNNN
  21.  
  22. Where NNNN is the PR# listed in the summary.
  23.  
  24. BE VERY CAREFUL -- if you leave out the "--text" or "NNNN" arguments,
  25. query-pr will dump our entire database, which is quite large and will
  26. tie up our limited net resources and we'll have to restrict access to
  27. this database.

  29. Here, though, are the most pressing bugs we know of in E2 beta1 (applies to
  30. Executor for all platforms unless noted otherwise):

  32.     PR#1034 Thinks everyone has a US keyboard
  33.  
  34.     PR#1190 Problems with multi-volume installations
  35.  
  36.     PR#1197 Font and Desk Accessory removal problematic
  37.  
  38.     PR#1831 Desktop Textures Volume 3 can corrupt System file
  39.  
  40.     PR#1905 Screen improperly updated in Tex-Edit after deleting first
  41.         character on a line
  42.  
  43.     PR#1971 Some Pop-up menus don't work in FileMaker Pro
  44.  
  45.     PR#2067 Quantization error reading gray scale images
  46.  
  47. There are many other bugs in the database, but those above are the
  48. ones that potentially affect many people.
