- This directory is the top-most Linux compatible operating system
- specific directory. In addition to this README file, this directory
- contains four other files and two subdirectories.
-
- The file "install" is a shell script that installs the Executor on
- your hard disk. It uses the file executor-common.tar.gz and either
- executor-aout-commercial.tar.gz or executor-elf-commercial.tar.gz
- depending on which binary format of Executor you choose to install on
- your system.
-
- The directory "expanded" contains every file that the installer script
- install installs on your hard disk. The contents of "expanded" can be
- useful when you want to revert a single file to the contents it had
- when it was originally installed but you don't want to do a complete
- reinstall. You can NOT run executor directly from the CD-ROM. It
- must be installed on a hard disk and registered first.
-
- The directory "extra" contains items that are not installed on your
- hard disk when you run install. Some of the contents of "extra" are a
- DEMO version of Executor that you can leave on your friends machines
- so they can see what Executor can do, many ".hqx" files just as they
- would appear if you were to download them from the internet or a Mac
- BBS.
