  16. In theory, the final demo versions of Executor 2 have been made.
  17.  
  18. While I'm putting together the rest of the CD-ROM, adventurous souls
  19. can use ftp to pick up the new demos from ftp.ardi.com:/pub.  The DOS
  20. files have changed slightly from the first stab at E2 demos. The new
  21. DOS files incorporate new splash screens, a new "wait cursor", a new
  22. installer and a new Portuguese keyboard layout.

  42. Remember, these are the time-limited crippled demo versions.  The
  43. complete versions will be on the CD-ROM.

  45. With luck, I'll have the complete CD-ROM built in a day or two.  Then
  46. we'll make about a dozen copies by hand and send them to the beta
  47. testers that received beta0.  Simultaneously we'll send a copy and the
  48. film for the CD-ROM artwork to our duplicators.

  50. Once we get a thumbs up from each of our beta testers, we'll tell the
  51. duplicator to crank out 5,000 copies.  At the same time, we'll notify
  52. everyone that the beta price of $149 will go away in two weeks.
