  32. was a while ago and there have been many changes to CND and Executor
  33. in that time.

  38. In theory they both should work.  ELF is just a newer (and better) way
  39. of laying out object binaries.  Of course if you try a.out and that
  40. works, while the ELF version still crashes, that would tell us
  41. something.

  46. ELF we wind up laying out memory differently than under a.out.  That
  47. shouldn't cause a crash, and I believe a lot of people are using
  48. E/L/ELF already.

  67. Thanks for the tips.  We'll be changing the installation description
  68. part of the manual before E2 ships.  As you point out, it currently
  69. assumes too much.

  76. We have a copy of Preview II here, although we never installed it
  77. after playing with Preview I.  We've been talking to Caldera about
  78. working closer together, but there are currently some sticking points
  79. that have forced further discussions into the post-E2 timeline.  Now
  80. that MacHack and our first meeting at Apple are done, I hope to stay
  81. in Albuquerque until E2 has been mastered and is sent off to be
  82. duplicated.
