  19. If you have sound support built as a module, and you're running kerneld to
  20. demand-load modules, Executor will come up only with "pretend" sound unless
  21. the sound module is already loaded.

  23. I suspect there's a check that asks "is sound available"?  Instead, it
  24. might be better to try to play a sound--say the "machine on bong"--and see
  25. if that succeded.  If it did, then you have sound, if not then you don't.
  26. That gives kerneld a chance to load the sound module into kernel space if
  27. it can.
