  6. Here's a Windows95 tip that I wish was
  7. in one of the readme files that came with
  8. Executor.  It should help you get the best
  9. possible use out of Executor.  It did for me.
  10. (God knows I tried everything!)

  13. After trying 3 top notch Linux OS's with
  14. E/L (and E/D under DOS) I have come to the 
  15. conclusion that Windows95 is the best way
  16. to run Executor.

  18. With a shortcut on my desktop to the executor.exe
  19. file and the following "Properties" set, you can't
  20. go wrong (even with 8 meg of ram).

  22. The "Memory" tab;
  23.  
  24. Conventional Memory-Auto
  25. Initial Environment-Auto
  26. Expanded(EMS)memory-None
  27. Extended(XMS)memory-None
  28. MS-DOS protected-mode(DPMI)memory-13312

  30. And these command line switches;
  31. eg: c:\executor\executor.exe -nosplash -nosound -applzone 5m
  32.  
  33. I really only bought Linux (Official RedHat 3.0.3, Slackware 3.0 and
  34. Linux-FT) just to see if Executor would be better under it, it wasn't.
