  30. It would be extremely difficult for us to fix, since the VESA VBE
  31. video driver standard provides no way to set the border color.  The
  32. old-style VGA technique of setting the border color doesn't work in
  33. SVGA video modes.

  35. Long ago someone from SciTech said they they would probably make
  36. SciTech Display Doctor 5.2 would always display a black screen border.
  37. However, I'm not sure if they ever got around to doing this.

  39. Is anyone out there running SDD 5.2 and still getting the annoying
  40. white screen border?
