- Dear People at ARDI,
-
- This afternoon I'm demoing Executor/DOS 2.0 Beta1 to the university's
- bio department computer center coordinator (that's a mouthful). He's
- interested in the product, even though he hasn't seen it yet. I'm going to
- let him know about its current limitation, as well as future directions
- (especially the Win32 version, which I'm sure would interest him more.)
- Anyway, he enquired about a site license and I told him I'd found out.
- So, have you all thought about the price behind a site license for an
- academic institution? Or about site licenses at all? He would likely want
- to outfit 15 computers, should he decide to purchase a license. Considering
- that 1/2 of the computers on this campus are Macs, I think he'd go for it,
- even in its current (printer port-less) state.
-
-
- Thanks much,
- --Gene
