  16. This letter is being sent to the various Executor mailing lists and
  17. also is bcc'd to a lot of my friends (many of whom I should exchange
  18. email with more often).

  20. In one of my recent status reports I mentioned that a few ARDI
  21. employees (Mat, Bill and myself) would briefly appear in Robert
  22. X. Cringely's upcoming PBS special.
  23.  
  24. I now know that the title of the show is "Triumph of the Nerds" and it
  25. will be taking up all of PBS's prime time (8pm-11pm on the coasts,
  26. 7pm-10pm in the middle of the US) Wednesday, June 12.  We're only on
  27. very briefly, so I wouldn't recommend sitting through a 3 hour show
  28. that doesn't interest you, just to see us.  But if you're interested
  29. in computer history and/or are already a fan of Robert X. Cringely and
  30. you're thinking about watching the show, now you know to watch for us.

  32. BTW, our fractional T1 line still isn't up, but we haven't given up
  33. yet, either.  Hopefully it will come on line soon.  We're making
  34. progress, which is pretty much the same story for the final version of
  35. Executor 2.  Judging from the reports of the beta1 pressings, we're
  36. almost there.
