  22. 'Triumph of the NERDs' was the title of a recent Cringely show which
  23. aired in the UK on Channel 4 last month.  There was an IRC followup
  24. to the show on Undernet with Robert taking questions live.

  26. I remember seeing the caption for Mat Hostetter during the show and
  27. thinking: "Mat Hostetter. Now where do I know that name from?"  
  28. Then I remembered ARDI and it all fell into place... (It's only
  29. recently I've come back to reading the emulator newsgroups, ironically
  30. beause of the Amiga emulator interest - I remember your conversations
  31. Cliff of around a year ago when the can it/can't it be done debate
  32. was well underway). Sorry, I digress.

  34. Considering the title of the show, it was a surprisingly interesting
  35. and detailed account of pioneering hi-tech companies.  I think you
  36. were favourably compared as the 'new Apple' company, sort of in the
  37. image of a Wozniac garage startup company made good - at least that's
  38. the impression I remember getting.
