  16. BETA 1 CD-ROMS ARE HERE

  18. A week ago we received the 300 beta 1 CD-ROMs we had made up.  Because
  19. of the holiday weekend we didn't get a draft of the manual off to be
  20. photocopied until Tuesday.  Wednesday we sent the first batch of
  21. CD-ROMs to people who had paid to receive them.
  22.  
  23. We're now in the process of getting copies out to the authors of the
  24. shareware, freeware and demoware included on the CD-ROM.  The next set
  25. will go to people at Apple, computer press, regular press, Mac-only
  26. ISVs and potential distributors.  We now can turn around beta1 orders
  27. (both new orders and $25 beta1 copies to existing customers) in a day.

  32. In the meantime we've fixed a few bugs here and there and Mat is
  33. developing an updater program so that people with Executor 2 CD-ROMs
  34. (beta or production) will be able to download bleeding edge patches
  35.
