- I am trying the demo version of exec/dos V2 beta 1 to run the
- excellent shareware game "Swoop" by David Wareing ( a galaxians type
- game) which runs well (including sound) if a little jerkily. I have
- now loaded the trial version of Scitech Display Doctor (univbe)
- hopeing to smooth out the action but the game now refuses to run at
- all with the message
-
- "Sorry, but Swoop could not find an appropriate monitor to use. It
- requires a screen capable of 640*480 pixels in 256 colours"
-
- Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong. I am using a Dell pentium
- (90Mhz) with 15" svga screen.
-
- Cheers
