- This seems like a good opportunity for me to report on my success running
- MacLink Plus 7.0 under Executor. I've been transferring mac-created text
- files (html files are just text files, right?) with no sweat to my PC
- side. It does create two files, which is disconcerting, but apparently the
- PC word-processors see them as one file. I've been reading in the
- transferred file and re-saving it right away as a unitary file, just to
- feel more comfortable with it. Then I delete the two original files. In
- fact, I've even transferred a file, then used an FTP client to upload it
- even while the two fork files existed. Works fine. For formatted files,
- I've so far used RTF a few times with success. I'm quite pleased with this
- arrangement so far.
-
- I've also been experimenting a bit with transferring SuperPaint (v2.0)
- files over to the PC side. It's a bit convoluted, as the only file format
- I can currently read on the PC side is TIFF, but I have succeeded in
- moving a couple of pictures between the two environments. Now if I could
- just get text to work on the draw side of SuperPaint, I'd be a happy man!
