- Despite the similarity in names, the late MagicSac cartridge and the
- current MagiCMac ST-emulation software are unrelated.

- MagicSac was a cartridge for the Atari ST that emulated a Mac+ (so long
- as you provided the Mac ROMS). It evolved into the much-improved
- Spectre:GCR, which worked with the Mac OS up through System 6.0 (I
- think). It was produced by David Small's firm Gadgets by Small, now
- defunct.

- MagicMac is a software ST emulator that runs on current Macs. It's based
- on the MagiC operating system for the Atari ST. I have no experience
- with it myself, but from the very active discussion of it on
- comp.sys.atari.st, I'd say it seems to work pretty well. (There WERE,
- however, problems with the demo that was available for awhile.)
