  27.  yes. this is an unfortunate problem with SVGAlib.  It sometimes crashes
  28. the console.  Fortunately since Linux itself is so stable and multitasks. 
  29. I can telnet into my machine from my roommate's computer, kill executor,
  30. and reset the console; all without rebooting the machine.
