- Gee, the last time I checked, MacOs for PPC included an emulator for the
- 68xxx series, in fact I remember noticing in a review of an upgrade to
- it that Apple was using the same kind of tricks that SynPaper talks
- about. Now if I recall correctly, they *were* considering putting in a
- hardware translation layer for _Intel x86_ code, in order to compete in
- the "mainstream" market.
