- Well not to burst your bubble either but heres a couple of truths about
- windows'95.
-
- 1. MS-DOS is still very much a part of Win95. MS-DOS 7 boots and unless
- you have bootgui=0 in your MSDOS.SYS file then win is auto-started.
- There is no MS-DOS emulation, its just a shell of MS-DOS 7.0 which
- is already running.
-
- 2. Win'95 still uses lots of 16-bit code. Try running win'95 on a p6
- and you'll see what i mean.
-
- 3. Win'95 is really just a supped up Win 3.11 + Win32s.
-
- To stay on subject i'd just like to say that i personally agree with the
- idea of making a macOS compatable version of Executor first. Or maybe
- one where we can just use the CPU emulation and true mac roms (if thats
- possible) which would be slow. I'd just like to be able to run System
- 6.0.7 or something.. The main thing that Win95 has to offer is that all
- devices and the GUI are already done, but since ARDI must also back other
- OSes like Linux and DOS that wont gain them much.
-
- Thats my $0.02.
