  21. I think the partition idea is great, however, wouldn't Ardi need to offer
  22. a device driver so the OS can read MacOS partitions? I know it's that way
  23. with using HPFS with DOS & Win95. Using the native filesystem is a problem
  24. because they don't support the two forks in the files (somehow that
  25. doesn't sound right but that's what I recall reading), as I understand it.
  26. Also, currently, only HPFS or SuperFAT support extended attributes that
  27. could be used to closely mimic HFS's extents, type, creator, etc. At
  28. least, that's as I'm understanding it at the moment. Maybe Ardi could
  29. offer both as a solution: HFS on a volume (partition, single file or
  30. otherwise). Using the native filesystems would cause more headaches than
  31. it would solve, I think. SoftWindows has it easier because VFAT is dumb.
