- after going around with this thing for many weeks with a friend of
- mine who also has a zip drive and could not get the demo of executor
- to work with it properly, we discovered one thing. If you want
- executor to recognize a mac zip disk, YOU MUST USE THE 16 BIT IOMEGA
- ASPI DRIVER (Guest). It was tried with several other drivers
- (including the driver for win 95) and it fails to properly allow
- access to a zip drive. As soon as we tested IOMEGA's ASPI driver set,
- the zip drive came up fine. (Tis means that if you are in win95
- running executor, there is no way to get the zip drive to appear
- properly, you must run it in a dos session (not just full screen) by
- rebooting in MS-DOS mode and running guest.
-
- This may not be definitive, as there may well be other drivers that
- work, but none that we tested. Boot into DOS (hit F8 when it says
- windows 95 is starting and choose command prompt only) then run guest,
- and your mouse driver, and then run executor. see if the mac drive
- does not show up......
