- That is strange but neat. You may want to contact Virtus and let them
- know (make sure you give them instructions on how they can verify it
- for themselves, since they'll think you're a crank).

- Jered Floyd is already doing this on vorlon.mit.edu in an unofficial
- capacity. He might (I can't speak for him; he's a way busy MIT
- student) be interested in some help. We've just requested a
- fractional T1 link; we're planning on greatly expanding www.ardi.com.

- A database of what runs and what doesn't (and how thoroughly the apps
- have been tested) is definitely needed. We're currently fixing a
- bunch of known problems in beta0 and waiting for the beta0 recipients
- (and people who have downloaded the beta0 DEMO version) to send us
- more problem reports.
-
- When beta1 comes out working on such a database will be our highest
- non-emergency priority.
-
- Bill> Please respond to me via direct e-mail to wcb4@upx.net, not
- Bill> as a response to this post, as I seldom check my mail from
- Bill> my AOL account, but check just about every day from
- Bill> upx.net. One official note from within ARDI, and the site
- Bill> will be up the next day.
-
- I've responded to both. Since your offer was made in the public, I
- wanted to make sure people saw that we are interested although we'd
- prefer the existing work at vorlon to be incorporated.
-
- Bill> Later, Bill/wcb4@upx.net
-
- Thank you for this fine offer.
