  19. I sent this message once before,but from a different account, so here
  20. it is again. I have been experimenting with html and cgi-bin and have
  21. taken a freeware bulletin board script and gotten it to where I can
  22. modify it pretty well as I like.

  24. I know that this newsgroup sees a lot of traffic, and that thre is a
  25. seperate place for official announcements from ARDI. I say we relegate
  26. this newsgroup to tech support for problems, and have a place where
  27. users can go to leave messages for other users and potential users
  28. about what software does and does not work under executor. A simple
  29. threaded BBS system on the web would work perfectly. The main message
  30. could contain the name of the software in question, and followup posts
  31. could discuss problems with that individual program. I could create
  32. this BBS and would maintain it free of charge on my ISP's server if
  33. this would be desirable. I know that before my wife purchased E/D for
  34. some school work I was considering purchasing it anyway, but was
  35. worried that I would not be able to get the software I wanted to run
  36. going under executor. I would have greatly appreciated aplace where I
  37. could go and just borowse a list of software titles and see their
  38. status. I know that the official release also includes a file that
  39. discusses the compatibility status of several programs, but those are
  40. only the programs that  Ardi has tested. Please let me know what you
  41. think
