- I have had a problem with a couple of Mac programs. It involves
- opening programs. They are both text editor related. If I open the
- text file by double clicking it from the desktop the program will load
- the text file correctly. But if I try to use the open command under
- the File Menu, it crashes the program.
-
- One program is Macintosh Assembly System it gives this error:
-
- Fatal error. main.c:1095; in 'unhandled trap'
- Fatal error: unhandled trap 18 at pc <unknown>
-
- The other program is called Edit (I think) I don't have this program
- with me though, but it gave an error very similar only when I tried to
- open the text file from inside the program, if I tried to open the
- text file by double clicking on the desktop it worked fine.
-
- Another thing I think is buggy is the font display. Courier seems to
- display fine but several of the other fonts display strangely. The
- way the font looks on the line that you are currently typing on looks
- very screwed up, (the letters seem not to be uniform and straight),
- and the cursor is not postioned correctly, ie: where it shows on the
- screen is not where your character appears. This happens both in
- Macintosh Assembly System and the other program called Edit, I don't
- know if it happens to any other programs, since those two programs are
- the only ones I type in using different fonts.
-
- Executor is a very good program and It is the first program I have
- found useful enough that I have registered it. :)
-
- Thanks,
- Chris
