  12. I haven't had any luck getting Executor/DOS to work for me under the newକ¨áö
  13. Windows NT 4.0 beta (build 1234).  No problem, I can't expect to run allକ¨áö
  14. beta programs and have them get along all the time.n't expect to run allକ¨áö

  16. But I'm also evaluating an X server for NT called eXalt (from Intergraph),•¨áö
  17. and I've been running a few apps on my Linux box, with the display going ,•¨áö
  18. to my X server on NT.  It's pretty good, and not all *that* slow.  eXalt ,•¨áö
  19. is an X11R5 implementation and it puts the X programs right alongside the,•¨áö
  20. Windows programs, with them a Win95-looking window manager.  Cool.ide the,•¨áö
  21.  
  22. So I tried running Executor/Linux with the display going to my NT box, and•¨áö
  23. it wouldn't start, giving me an error: the display going to my NT box, and•¨áö
  24.  
  25. executor: XError `11': BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) and•¨áö
  26. X_CreateCursoror `11': BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) and•¨áö

  29. I'm not sure what kind of resources X_CreateCursor needs, but I can sayand•¨áö
  30. that Executor is the only program I've found that gives this error. sayand•¨áö
  31. Netscape 2.01 for Linux, which I'd consider a "resource" hog in general,nd•¨áö
  32. displays happily on eXalt.  I'm guessing I've found an eXalt bug, and I've•¨áö
  33. reported it to Intergraph, too, but I'm posting here in case somebody else•¨áö
  34. has run into the "BadAlloc with X_CreateCursor" bug on another X server.se•¨áö
