  36. We don't have any ZIP drives at ARDI yet.  We'll probably buy one SCSI
  37. ZIP drive and one Parallel ZIP drive and then make them go under
  38. Executor.  My *guess* is that they already work well on a NeXTstation,
  39. although I don't know if NEXTSTEP is smart enough to see the "disk
  40. inserted events".  If not, you'll have to run the command:

  42. /usr/filesystems/HFS_XFer.fs/HFS_XFer.util -p sdN
  43.  
  44. (where sdN is the /dev entry for your SCSI ZIP drive) after Executor
  45. has been started to get Executor's attention.  You may also need to
  46. push NeXT's mac.fs entry aside in /usr/filesystems before you boot
  47. your machine in order to prevent NeXT's HFS filesystem from taking
  48. over the drive.
