  26.     Hyung-song> hello, I'm trying to print Garamond in executor, but
  27.     Hyung-song> it's not working well. I have installed Garamond
  28.     Hyung-song> bitmaps in executor, and Type 1 Garamond is installed
  29.     Hyung-song> in ROM of my PostScript printer. Times, New York, and
  30.     Hyung-song> other fonts that came with executor prints fine, but
  31.     Hyung-song> whenever I try to print Garamond, I get Courier
  32.     Hyung-song> instead of Garamond. Here is my /etc/printcap:
  33.
  34.     Hyung-song> lp|postscript|ps:\ :lf=/var/spool/lpd/errs:\

  39.     Hyung-song> /usr/local/bin/ps600-filter is magic-filter, and lpf
  40.     Hyung-song> fixes the "stair- case" effect. I have ghostscript
  41.     Hyung-song> installed, but it's not used in the printing
  42.     Hyung-song> process. What am I doing wrong? Or is executor
  43.     Hyung-song> incapable of printing these Type 1 fonts?? (Type 1
  44.     Hyung-song> fonts installed in printer) I did not try this yet in
  45.     Hyung-song> E/DOS, but I will later today. Thanx a lot.
  46.
  47. Executor should try to access Garamond as:
  48.
  49.     Garamond-Light
  50.     Garamond-Bold
  51.     Garamond-LightItalic
  52. and    Garamond-BoldItalic
  53.
  54. for regular, emboldened, italicized and both emboldened and italicized
  55. text.  If your printer doesn't use those names exactly then a mapping
  56. between those names and the names that your printer uses is necessary.
  57.
  58. Someone posted an article that described how to adjust font name
  59. mappings, but I believe the adjustment was for GhostScript.  I'm not
  60. sure how to make such adjustments directly with a PostScript printer.
