  18. Maybe I'm doing something that is not optimal, but my results with E/D q12
  19. are mixed.

  21. Compatibility is great, all the programs (admittedly I don't run many Mac
  22. programs) I need run without crashes.

  24. Speed under DOS is definitely improved.  To my eye, speed under Warp is as
  25. good or better than 1.99p9 also, but Speedometer says differently:

  27. On my ancient 386DX25 with 20 MB RAM, 13 ms access time HD, Hercules
  28. Dynamite ISA with 2 MB video DRAM...

  30. 1.99p6 DOS PR rating = 0.236  (Speedometer didn't run under Warp)
  31. 1.99p9 DOS  =  0.311
  32. 1.99p9 Warp = 2.163
  33. 1.99q12 DOS = 1.197
  34. 1.99q12 Warp =  1.063

  36. It's still fast (considering my system), and I can't really notice a
  37. slowdown when running apps, but Speedometer says it's slower than p9,
  38. comparing best conditions with best conditions.

  40. One improvement I've noticed under Warp is that the -info switch now is able
  41. to detect DPMI memory amounts.   It was "Unable to determine DPMI free
  42. memory" under with p9 under Warp.

  44. By the way, the Browser keeps looking better and better.
