  22. E/L and E/D 1.99q are each about 55% faster than E/D 1.99q 
  23. on my 486/66 with 20M ram.  The improvements are across the
  24. board, in disk, graphics, math, and CPU.  I tested under
  25. Speedometer.  Of course a 50% speed improvement is obvious
  26. when running.
