  25. I just finished an all-nighter with one of the higher end CTX models (2megs
  26. of VRAM, with 4x CD ROM, 16megs of ram, and a Pentium 151.)  E/D works
  27. awsomely (I got ResEdit to run w/o crashing, though some picker items
  28. couldn't be seen, also ran Disinfectant.)  The only problem I had (and I
  29. was running 1.99q at the time) was that you had to disable the sound with
  30. the -nosound switch.  The reason was, every time I tried to load executor,
  31. it would hang.  Evidently there was a glitch with the built in sound card.
  32. (Run the emulator from windows - it will allow you to abort in case of
  33. problems without rebooting!)

  35. According to Cliff (I talked to him at 2am this morning) 1.99q12 should
  36. automatically disable the sound option if there's a problem, so your milage
  37. will probably vary.  Otherwise, everthing worked pretty well...
  38.
