  20. hello,
  21.     I'm trying to print Garamond in executor, but it's not working
  22. well. I have installed Garamond bitmaps in executor, and Type 1 Garamond
  23. is installed in ROM of my PostScript printer. Times, New York, and other
  24. fonts that came with executor prints fine, but whenever I try to print
  25. Garamond, I get Courier instead of Garamond. Here is my /etc/printcap:
  26.
  27. lp|postscript|ps:\
  28.         :lf=/var/spool/lpd/errs:\
  29.         :lp=/dev/lp1:\
  30.         :sd=/var/spool/lpd:\
  31.         :if=/var/spool/lpd/lpf:\
  32.         :if=/usr/local/bin/ps600-filter:\
  33.         :sh:
  34.
  35. /usr/local/bin/ps600-filter is magic-filter, and lpf fixes the "stair-
  36. case" effect. I have ghostscript installed, but it's not used in the
  37. printing process. What am I doing wrong? Or is executor incapable of
  38. printing these Type 1 fonts?? (Type 1 fonts installed in printer) I
  39. did not try this yet in E/DOS, but I will later today. Thanx a lot.
