  9. Again the triumph of having hacker blood running swiftly through one's veins...

  11. Thanks to the neat-o debug switch, I traced the failure to load (as noted
  12. in an earlier post of mine) to a hang caused by an attempt to initalize the
  13. sound manager.  I don't know why it died (sound-blaster compatible built in
  14. sound system...) but once I set the switch to -nosound, I was blown off my
  15. feet by the uncanny mac-ness now running off my notebook.  This is MUCH
  16. better (in theory) than a PowerBook...
  17.  
  18. Of course, now it's almost 2am.  Thank god I'm on Spring Break.
  19. Now to see what else breaks...
