  33. Yes, thats true, but isn't Word and/or Executor supposed to *insure* the 
  34. filename does not exceed certain limits? I know in most of the programs I 
  35. use (on my Mac) they will issue a warning dialog when you exceed 32 
  36. characters, and this happens as you type the 33 character.

  38. I would suspect Executor being at fault. In fact, I just tried a program 
  39. under Exec right now, and when I enter a long filename, not only does it 
  40. not warn me when I exceed the 32 char limit, but the input area (for the 
  41. filename) doesn't scroll over as I exceed the end of the box, which it 
  42. should. I can't even use the cursor to arrow over the filename area which 
  43. exceeds the box to correct any errors in the name.
