  15. i picked up executor 1.99q9 from the bleeding site edge yesterday.  i am 
  16. running it through windows95 (only because i am still trying to configure 
  17. my linux -- which i understand is better for running executor).  then, 
  18. after i remembered reading some mail from cliff (i think), i went and 
  19. grabbed realmz 2.5 because i thought i heard that it may work on this 
  20. version.  so i got it.  so, i decided to expand it.  here's the problem:  
  21. it starts expanding realmz just fine for a couple files then i start 
  22. getting this error:

  24. "unable to decompress archive because unable to create file"
  25.  
  26. this goes on for a couple for more time (about four in total) and then 
  27. the whole extraction thing quits.  what happened?  and has anyone else 
  28. had this problem?

  30. also, while i am out here spilling my guts, i have a couple more questions...
  31.  
  32. 1) what am i doing wrong that i cannot place icon right on the desktop?
  33.  
  34. 2) can i runexecutor straight from the command line in linux, or do i 
  35. have to do it through x?
