  17. 1.99q8 used some new video driver handling code that caused at least
  18. one customer's video monitor to get thrown into a bad mode.  We have
  19. removed the offending code and released 1.99q9.  There are some other
  20. bug-fixes added although there are still many critical/high bugs
  21. pending.

  23. ftp://vorlon.mit.edu/pub/ardi/BleedingEdge contains DOS, NEXTSTEP and
  24. Linux subdirectories.  Within them you'll find the .zip or .tar.gz
  25. file that will bring 1.99q up to 1.99q9.  Our other mirrors will have
  26. the new BleedingEdge files in a day or two.

  33. exec19q9.zip should work a little nicer under Windows NT.  We have
  34. also removed some fancy video driver code that we added to 1.99q8 that
  35. caused bad side-effects on some machines.

  37. NOTE: Be sure to configure Executor so that it starts out in
  38. full-screen mode.  If you do not do this, Executor may behave
  39. unpredictably.  Switching out of Executor with Alt-TAB or Alt-Enter
  40. may not work, or may leave cruft on the screen when you get back.  If
  41. it does, Cmd-Shift-7 can be used to force Executor to repaint the
  42. screen.

  46.         Realmz 2.5 should now work (make sure sound is off).

  48.         Added "-desperate" switch which can be used as an act of
  49.         desperation to turn off as much auto-detection and standard
  50.         features as possible to see if a stripped down version of
  51.         Executor will work when the default version doesn't.

  53.         Added "-vga" which forces Executor to use original VGA video
  54.         modes instead of attempting to use SVGA video modes which
  55.         fail on some systems.

  57.         Added Cmd-Shift-7 FKEY which repaints the screen.

  59.         Fixed a memory leak in DrawPicture.
