  18. It's not wierd at all.  On my Mac, most of the installers will quit all
  19. running applications (including the FINDER) before they begin to install. 
  20. This is true with some versions of Apple Installers and all of the Vice
  21. Installers.  Somehow any program that will try to quit all other programs
  22. will not work.
