  27. smarter about not examining "bad" drives and potentially hanging your
  28. system.  If you find that, with Executor 1.99q7 or later:

  32. is still necessary, please let me know and we'll try to figure out
  33. what Executor is doing wrong so future versions can be even smarter.

  35. Conversely, if you find that you used to need those (or similar)
  36. switches but you don't need them any more in the newest Executors,
  37. please let me know.  That would be good news.
