- This may be a result of naming problems. Under DOS, because of the
- leading "%", 7.3 filenames are needed. Internally there are places
- where the inability to map a name will result in i/o error (this is a
- bad choice, a more appropriate error value should be returned). That
- may be the cause of the trouble you're seeing.
