  24. This is Executor version 1.99q8, compiled Tue Mar 5 09:01:24 MST 1996.
  25. CPU type is 80486 or better.
  26. 4444160 bytes (4.23 MB) of potentially useful physical DPMI memory detected.

  28. No VESA-compatible video driver detected; SVGA video modes are unavailable.

  30. By the way, My computer is 486-DX/2 66 MHz with 16MB of RAM,  and 
  31. I found out video card (3 years old ET4000-W32i) is not vesa-compatible, 
  32. Cause I found out the problem is gone with my friends NT machine (same configuration,
  33. except video card is more recent ET4000-W32p or so..)   It says VBE 1.2
  34. and works fine.

  36. Also I'm using NT video driver at 1024x768 at 256 color small font mode.

  39. 2. Executor tries to use 16 colors when I see Alt-Shift-5 Panel..  256 color
  40. mode is dimmed out.

  43. 3. I'm using another OS/2 Warp PC (Compaq Presario CDS 972, Pentium-75 with 32MB RAM)
  44. which have Cirrus Logic 54xx card.  Can run executor with no problem at OS/2 PM.  
  45. (It works grate!) "Executor -info" says that this is also VBE 1.2 compilance.

  50.   Is there no way to use 256 color mode with Non-VESA compatible old driver?  I remember
  51. DJGPP or EMX supplies cool video drivers for this ET4000 series.
