  53. David John Burrowes wrote a cool PICT -> EPS converter for NEXTSTEP a
  54. while back.  I believe the code is GPL'd so it can be hacked up for
  55. non-commercial purposes.  There are a bunch of apps that you can run
  56. under Executor that can help you out here.

  64. I don't believe Quickmail runs under Executor yet, at least not in a
  65. particularly useful fashion, since Executor itself doesn't talk
  66. directly to serial ports or networks (you can push stuff through
  67. serial ports and networks and then feed that to Executor, but that's
  68. different).

  78. Heh.  No text to speach in Executor yet, either.

  80. Rewriting the MacOS and Toolbox from scratch (with no peeking at the
  81. ROMs or System File) is a very large undertaking.  Executor is useful
  82. to some people now and will be useful to more people in the future.
  83. I'm hoping that by the end of 1996 you'll be able to do all of the
  84. above, but predicting the future is prone to error -- we certainly
  85. made major strides in 1995, though.
