  4. I have found a bug in Executor (DOS and Linux versions, all revisions).  It 
  5. involves the game Spaceward Ho!, from Delta Tao Software.
  6.  
  7. The bug is NOT in the game itself, as I ran this game on a real Mac 
  8. and the bug was not there.
  9.  
  10. The bug is : When you design ships (using the Build/Design Ships menu), 
  11. you can sometimes "cheat" and build ships more powerful than your current 
  12. technological ability.  i.e. you can have a ship with weapons = 12 even 
  13. if you only have weapons technology = 10.  You can do this by pulling the 
  14. "thumb" (The box that moves when you click on the arrows in a scroll bar) 
  15. past the right arrow.  When you do this, the thumb DOES NOT stop at the 
  16. right boundary, but can go past it.  Ergo, you can get higher values than 
  17. the scroll bar normally permits.

  19. Again, I have seen this in AT LEAST the DOS and Linux versions (probably 
  20. NeXTstep, too) in all revisions up to and including 1.99q6.
