  14. First of all, I wish to thank all the folks at ARDI for a wonderful product!  I just
  15. received my Executor license keys and am extremely happy.  I've watched Executor grow
  16. since the b/w-only versions and man, has it gotten great!  The 1.99q version even has
  17. sound support (WOW!), and lets me be productive when I'm running Linux, saving me the
  18. pain and embarrassment of having to reboot into DOS/Windoze when I have to use a good
  19. wordprocessor or whatnot.

  21. I'd also like to praise you for your great support and people.  Everytime I've posted a
  22. question, comment, bug report, application compatibility report, etc., I've gotten
  23. quick, courteous responses from real humans, not those auto-responders that a lot of
  24. people are (sadly) switching to.  I had to call you guys once, and you don't even have
  25. voice mail and I didn't get put on hold forever.  Sure wish the rest of the world
  26. operated like you folks do!

  28. Now, on to my question.  Is it possible to switch printing modes "on the fly"?  What I
  29. mean is this: Normally, I have my Executor print directly to my PostScript printer.
  30. This makes sense, since I when I choose "print" I usually mean to print something.
  31. HOWEVER, sometimes I'd like to generate a Postscript file -- for example, when I want
  32. to FAX my resume to a prospective employer, I have to generate a PostScript file which
  33. I can then send through the Hylafax program (which expects PostScript files on input).
  34. I have to do this by quitting Executor (thus interrupting my work, etc.) and running it
  35. with the "-printer" switch to tell it to print to a file.  It would be nice to be able
  36. to do this while running Executor, either by a configuration option, a hot-key, or a
  37. holding down a special key while choosing the "Print" command (say, if you hold down
  38. Clover-LeftShift while choosing Print, it'll print to a file).

  40. I primarily need this feature in the Linux version fo Executor, however it might be
  41. useful for the DOS folks too(?).

  43. Is this possible?  If not, is it feasible enough to add this feature?  Please let me
  44. know.  Thanks!
