  1. Has anyone out there had any experience, good or otherwise,
  2. running Adobe Illustrator 5.5 on a PC? It's not on the list
  3. of software that works, so I sent a note to the Executor help people,
  4. and I was told that it "sort of" works, but that the user "must
  5. hide hyphenation files" to run it.
  6.  
  7. Not being an Illustrator user yet, I'm not exactly sure what that means.
  8. But we'd really like to be able to run the Mac version of the program
  9. because it's much more advanced than the PC version. Any insights would
  10. be greatly appreciated.

  37. PovRay 2.2 crashes to do with a GPF at program start.  (right after it 
  38. read or writes the preferences file)  PovRay 2.2 needs system 6.0.4 wich
  39. is what I gave it (nothing more).  The version i'm running is the 
  40. one for no floating point (since executor doesn't support FPU anyway).
  41. I turned on all the switches that made sense to turn on (including sound).

  43. Yes. Yes. I know there is a version for DOS, but that has a cryptic 
  44. command line interface and I'd rather run GUI interfaces whenever possible.

  46. PovRay 2.2 can be gotton from Info-Mac.
