- Hi Folks,
-
- Ever since we added sound to Executor/DOS 1.99p8, some people have
- found that Executor can no longer read and write Macintosh formatted
- floppies.
-
- 1.99q has a switch "-nosound" which you can use to tell Executor to
- not try playing sounds at all. This should restore Executor to the
- level of floppy compatibility you had before 1.99p8.
-
- We're looking for a fix that will allow everyone to access floppies
- even without "-nosound". It may be a few days coming.

- I have noticed that the video slowdown under OS/2 and WIn95 is
- extremely pronounced. It is most noticeable in games (Maelstrom,
- e.g.,). Is there any chance this will get better in executor 2?
-
- I have a P100 with a Matrox Millenium card, so my machine's video
- should be up to snuff.
-
- Thanks,
- Steve
