  12. Ya know, it would be possible to work around this driver problem if some 
  13. entrepenureal (sp <g>) programmer out there were to write a program that 
  14. saved the contents of the video RAM to Extended memory whenever it 
  15. detected a screen change.  It could be written as a DOS program, because 
  16. OS/2 is capable of notifying DOS programs when it changes screens 
  17. (this OS/2 feature is configurable via the settings notebook).

  19. I have seen a similar program once before, but it was only designed to 
  20. handle a low resolution (320x200) screen, and not SVGA.  It could 
  21. probably be redone to handle SVGA, though (with a little work).
