  1. Hello to all,

  3. Just wanted to say that in my wanting to create a Mac disk image,
  4. I experimented with a few different *DOS* based image creators,
  5. and found only one to work. Disk Copy Fast (Available at
  6. ftp.cdrom.com/pub/simtel/msdos/diskutil) fit the bill and read
  7. the image without complaining too much. I have verified that it
  8. wrote back correctly to another (dos formatted) disk without a
  9. problem.. There might be others out there that work, but out of
  10. the ones I have only DCF worked properly. It complains at first
  11. about the boot sector being messed up, but you can tell it to
  12. ignore the error and continue reading the disk.

  14. I forgot exactly what the problem was before when someone was
  15. posting about getting disk images of Mac formatted disks, so
  16. this may not help at all, but I'm sure someone can put this
  17. information to use.
