  1. Logitech, for a while now, has been shipping a driver called CLOAKING.EXE
  2. with their mice, that loads a stub of itself somewhere and then allows you
  3. to load the mouse driver into high memory.  With Executor 1.99q, attempting
  4. to run when CLOAKING.EXE is loaded causes a quick and fatal crash under
  5. DOS.  The obvious workaround is to not load CLOAKING, which is easy to do
  6. with boot menus.  However, I figured the folks at Ardi might want to know
  7. about this.  My apologies if this is already documented and I missed it.

  43. I just wonder that have anyone try to run fractal 
  44. design poser on executor/dos or linux. I would like to 
  45. know since this software require FPU. If it can work, 
  46. so i will make a decision to buy this soft.

  76. I have the solution to the 800k problem!  Drill a hole the the corner of the
  77. disk that has no hole.  Presto your 800k disk should work.

  106. Executor does not emulate an FPU, so any software which requires an
  107. FPU will not work under Executor.  We will probably add FPU emulation
  108. someday, but not in time for Executor 2.  Sorry!

  135. Just wanted to say that in my wanting to create a Mac disk image,
  136. I experimented with a few different *DOS* based image creators,
  137. and found only one to work. Disk Copy Fast (Available at
  138. ftp.cdrom.com/pub/simtel/msdos/diskutil) fit the bill and read
  139. the image without complaining too much. I have verified that it
  140. wrote back correctly to another (dos formatted) disk without a
  141. problem.. There might be others out there that work, but out of
  142. the ones I have only DCF worked properly. It complains at first
  143. about the boot sector being messed up, but you can tell it to
  144. ignore the error and continue reading the disk.

  146. I forgot exactly what the problem was before when someone was
  147. posting about getting disk images of Mac formatted disks, so
  148. this may not help at all, but I'm sure someone can put this
  149. information to use.
